Hi, I’m Claire, live in beautiful South West Devon.
I first came across Kollo on Instagram at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. I watched an Instagram live that Jenni Falconer was hosting an Instagram with a guest about the benefits of taking Collagen... Kollo seemed incredible, it ticked every box and I hoped it would help me too.
I guess I started to feel that I’d lost my spark a little and that was certainly reflecting in my hair and skin. My children were growing up fast, thinking about A levels and getting ready to leave the nest. In turn, I certainly didn’t want to start feeling old, frumpy or dull, both in spirit and visibly. Funny how those two events coincide! Life flies by and before you know it, you’re in your fifties – eek!
Following this interview, I took the plunge and placed my first order.
Within a few weeks of taking my little red collagen sachet, I noticed my skin feeling and looking brighter and plumper. My hair and nails felt stronger, longer and less brittle. In addition, my joints felt less “creaky” and my general well-being and energy levels had improved. I started getting compliments about my skin, how it looked and felt healthier, and brighter. This was such a huge confidence boost. I can honestly say I haven’t looked back.
Kollo Health’s Collagen is a delicious tropical fruit flavour and although it can be mixed with water, I take mine neat first thing in the morning. My Blog and Instagram “Woman on a Mission” is where I hope to help guide and empower you to make simple life habits and live the life you want, one little mission at a time. It is my aim that my musings will make you feel looked after, inspired and accomplished.
Personally, I’m currently working on quite a Mission! I've spent much of my working life as an Oncology nurse and I've lost too many people close to me including my father and good friends to cancer. More recently, my much loved and very much missed mother-in-law, Wendy, to Ovarian Cancer.
In April 2025, I'm running the Paris Marathon in Wendy’s honour to raise funds and awareness the Ovarian Cancer charity Ovarian Cancer Action and the blood cancer charity DKMS of which I’ve been an ambassador for over 6 years.
With clinical studies showing that collagen is hugely beneficial for stronger bone and joint health, cartilage repair and function, I know that my little sachets of Kollo collagen in combination with the Meno Support will only benefit my training and recovery.
This Mission won't be easy, it's been a while since I ran anywhere, but I'm going to give it my best! I’m so grateful to the team at Kollo Health for their support and to Jenni for her personal, wise words of wisdom and for encouraging me to go for it! Oh my goodness!
